What should I do if I am in a crisis?
If you require immediate attention, please contact your GP, attend your local accident & emergency department at hospital, or call 999. Please be aware that I do not offer a 24 hour service.
What happens during my first session?
During your first appointment, you will be asked about what has brought you to seek therapy and we can begin to develop a shared understanding of your difficulties and what your hopes for therapy are.
What if I need to cancel my therapy session?
As much as I want you to prioritise your therapy and self care, I know that life happens. I do ask that you give me 48 hours' notice of any cancellation. I hope you understand that you would be charged for late cancellations and non attendance, as is the case in many businesses. Further details will be included in my terms and conditions which will be sent to you at the time of your booking.
How many sessions will I need?
This is so difficult to say - how long is a piece of string! However, my approach is goal focused and I have regular reviews with my clients to ensure we are talking about what is useful and that their therapy is helping them make meaningful changes to their life. I will always be guided by you, as the client.
