What Our Clients Say
"Jessica helped me a year after becoming a mum first time and I was going through a difficult time.

During our sessions, she asked questions that made me understand my emotions and also came up with a few techniques to help me overcome my anxieties.
I am still using the technique where I am focusing on each part of my body to help me relax or the helicopter when I am in difficult situations.

She was empathic, professional and supportive and I would recommend her to anyone who needs to overcome any obstacles in life."

"I was introduced to Jess 6 months after an 18 month period where both my parents had died in different circumstances. Having never done any sort of therapy before, it was recommended that maybe some sort of grief counselling could be of benefit.

I didn't know what to expect, but what I can say is that Jess expertly, kindly, professionally and with genuine empathy and skill guided me through the right number of sessions that I needed. This helped me tell the stories, talk through the memories both painful and amazing and also help me understand and recognise what I was both feeling and not letting myself feel at the same time. I cried a lot when I didn't expect to and every session left me feeling completely different to how I expected to feel.

However, there were a number of consistent outcomes: Jess was amazing at making me focus where I needed to ficus, every call left me knowing I had made progress with dealing with my grief, but also not at any point feeling I as losing touch with my emotions and memories of joy and love I had of and with my parents. Jess helped give me that extra clarity, support and guidance that was needed in helping me manage my emotions. I can recommend the process, the outcome and also most of all Jess as the therapist and a great support if needed."

"Choosing Jess was one of the best decisions I've made.
From the beginning, she created a safe environment where I felt heard and understood. With her guidance, I learned to see anxiety in a new light and cultivate self-compassion.
I can't thank her enough for her patience and support, and I'd recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone seeking a genuine, transformative experience in therapy."

"I initially went into therapy with doubts in my mind, which were completely erased within the first session with Jess.
She put my mind at ease and took on board how I could see the sessions going, and as a result I leant into working with her.
Coming to Jess for therapy was a decision that has massively helped me & I am very grateful to her."

"I had 3 counsellors before I started working with Jess. The results were disappointing. It is not particularly inexpensive to hire someone with Jess's skills, She is a clinical psychologist.
I was delighted with the quality of her work. Not only is she completely effortless to work with. She is also very, very good at her job, and I would say her fees represent very good value for the quality of the results that I promise she will deliver to you.
As I said, the results from 'normal' counsellors were very disappointing. I always looked forward to my appointments with Jess. I would say that Jess made major, significant and long-lasting improvements to my mental health and gave me strategies for coping with a wide range of challenges. I have felt a lot calmer and more stable since the therapy with her. She is a brilliant Psychologist and you won't be disappointed. If you are thinking of 'biting the bullet' and hiring a clinical psychologist then I would recommend Jess without reservation. "

"I reached out to Jess for help, as my Mum had passed away a few months earlier and I wasn’t dealing with this very well. I was full of rage and anger, for the loss of Mum, but more around the loss of Mum years ago. Mum was ill a long time and even though I tried to prepare myself for what was coming, I fell into a dark place. On top of Mum’s loss, I have a beautiful neurodiverse family and so I had a lot of challenges at home, that I was not dealing with.
I was very anxious about therapy, as I had at least three attempts with it in the past and it was all surface level and never really helped me. In my first session with Jess, I asked her to not let me try and change the subject, or bring humour to avoid the questions and she held up to this side well for me.
She helped me understand my past, and the triggers for much of the anger I had. I was surrounded by aggression and anger through my younger years and that created my story. Jess carefully helped unpick my life and slowly but surely, I found a way to accept my feelings. Understand that it is okay to be angry, but need to find out what the real reason was. She helped me with many strategies that I have committed to do weekly and have set myself time each week to reflect on what I have learnt and how I am coping in the moment.
I was anxious about stopping but have her reassurance that I can come back in the future if needed. So many people are nervous about therapy, but if you are brave enough to take the step, I would recommend Jess every time."
