About Me

Hello!

I am a Clinical Psychologist working in Wokingham, Berkshire with over 15 years of NHS clinical experience working with a wide range of client difficulties across working age and older adults both individually and with couples.  I am mindful of the context in which we live and our relationships, and therefore I adopt an integrated approach using ideas from cognitive behavioural therapy, compassion focus and systematic theory in my work with individuals and couples.

My special areas of interest include low self esteem, anxiety, adjustment and transition and finally trauma.

I recognise the value of the therapeutic relationship and the need for someone to feel safe to share their distress. It is a privilege to support people to gain insight into their difficulties, manage their internal struggles and reduce distress, learn new skills, build resilience and work towards living a life in line with their values.

Supervision, Consultation & Training

As an experienced clinical supervisor, I can offer clinical supervision to healthcare professionals in the non statutory and charities sector. I can also offer consultation to those services, companies and to charities that are interested in increasing their psychological thinking and support to staff.

Alongside my private practice, I work as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in an NHS specialist service, delivering therapy and providing supervision, consultation and training. I also have links to Oxford University.
